Obe’s Angels Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is located in Cortez, Colorado.  Obe’s is a no-kill rescue saving dogs from our local community as well as dogs in high kill shelters.  We network with many different shelters and animal organizations in efforts to save as many animals as we can.  We are an all breed dog rescue but do focus on the bully breeds as they are highly discriminated against and frequently euthanized in shelters across the nation. 

A majority of the canines we rescue and intake have medical conditions that need attention and caring for, emotional scarring due to neglect and mental abuse, lack of socialization and some behavior issues.   Rehabilitation takes time, which causes some of these dogs take much longer to find forever homes and some will be in a loving foster home their entire life. 

Since our rescue efforts started in 2018, we have grown considerably and have been able to help more and more dogs thanks to the support of people like yourself!  We rely heavily on donations to keep us going and continue growing our rescue efforts.  Welcome to our website!
